One of the new characters, Dante, brings along the classic “Partner Dialogue” that you’d come to expect from an Uncharted game. The game plays along at a steady pace that will take the average gamer somewhere around 8 to 10 hours to complete the first time through. Unfortunately this is a single player only game with no option for any sort of multiplayer support, no co-op nor competitive, which makes the experience feel slightly smaller than other Uncharted games. That being said, to tack on top of the 8 to 10 hour single player there’s a lot of treasures lying around. Fantastic looking environments and overall graphical finesse has been a trademark of the Uncharted franchise and with Golden Abyss you can expect nothing but the best. Some of the edges are jagged and pixelated and the screenshots blows out the image and make the graphics seem questionable, when you play this on the gorgeous Playstation Vita screen you will be floored at every turn as they pan out and show you the absolute beauty of the game. read more

Some native PSP titles are available only through the PlayStation Store, while many games originally released on UMD are now available for download through the PS Store. In that same year Sony attempted to launch its PSP Go, a PSP that lacked a UMD drive and therefore could (ostensibly) only get software through the PS Store. The PSP sold exceptionally well compared to every other non-Nintendo handheld, moved a lot of software early on for several third parties (Activision, EA, and Take-Two), and has had several key games in important franchises (God of War, Final Fantasy, others). I think it is a little bit odd to say “The PSP sold exceptionally well compared to every other non-Nintendo handheld” when the last non-Nintendo handhelds, that were released in the US were the Sega Gamegear and the Atari Lynx (I wouldn’t count consoles like the Nomad or the TurboExpress, cause they were only portable versions of existing consoles, that could run the same cartridges as the stationary devices). Take two additional points in consideration, first at this time (June 2011), the PSP software market outside of Japan was dead, so it is unlikely, that this number will rise, unless on the DS, were software is still sold in large ammounts and second, that Sony wasn’t as successful on the PSP with their own games, then they were on the PS2 and so are more dependent on the smaller licence fee profits to see exactly, why the PSP was such a disaster. You forget, that the gba sold it’s 82 million in a much shorter time, the device was on the market for 4-5 years, the PSP is now on the market for 7 years. read more

Pet Supplies Plus (PSP) has announced plans to relocate its warehousing operations from southeastern Michigan to Seymour, Indiana; a move expected to create up to 135 jobs by 2016. Founded in 1988, the company is the third-largest pet specialty retailer in America, operating 258 stores in 22 states. Currently about 200 Hoosiers work at nearly a dozen PSP stores sprinkled throughout Indiana.
