I caught myself sitting back and watching them feeling like I was watching a movie and being caught off-guard when the game actually started. There is a DNA board that you can place chips on to give Aya various stat boosts or boosts to the people around her. While shooting in cover if you empty your clip and need to reload, Aya will reload then crouch back behind cover. The 3rd Birthday is an interesting turn away from the other Square Enix titles on the PSP but it still retains the value you are used to from the company. The gameplay learning curve is fair with the exception of the DNA board, but that is an aspect that will add to the depth of the game. The 3rd Birthday is working out to be another Square Enix title that makes the PSP worth carrying around a bit more often. read more
