Sony has gone webcam crazy this week with the launch of the first official units for both its PlayStation 3 and PSP. Dealing with the incredibly expensive and powerful PS3 first, we have the ‘Eye’ a cam primarily designed for gaming. As such it places more focus on clear audio with a large noise cancelling four way microphone than it does on the bandwidth hogging image quality which is limited to a fairly standard 640 x 480 resolution at up to 60fps.
