(PSP News) 2nd Oreimo PSP Game's Kirino Route Promo Streamed - Anime News Network

ASCII Media Works ‘ Dengeki Online site began streaming a gameplay video from the Ore no ImÅto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai Portable ga Tsuzuku Wake ga Nai ( Ore no ImÅto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai Portable Can’t Possibly Be Continuing) game sequel on Friday. Taketatsu discussed her return to the world of Oreimo nearly a year after she finished the anime, the differences from the original story and the previous game, and the reasons why she recommends Kirino’s route. Ore no ImÅto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai Portable ga Tsuzuku Wake ga Nai will ship for the PSP system in Japan on March 29. The North American anime distributor Aniplex of America released the Oreimo television anime series in a DVD box set in October. Bamboo Dong, Lauren Orsini and Courtney Kraft stop by the podcast to chat about sexism in anime and anime fandom, and the results are EXPLOSIVE! PSP News - Bummer: Sony Confirms PSP UMD Discs Won't Transfer to Vita - TIME

Bad news for PlayStation Portable gamers hoping to lug their UMD (disc-based) games over to Sony’s imminent PlayStation Vita â” it’ll (probably) never happen. That’s the word from the mount (aka Sony), despite a program in Japan, dubbed “UMD Passport,” that allows Japanese PSP owners to register their UMD games online, then download them to a Vita. The PS Vita will play PSP games, of course, but only ones you’ve bought and downloaded from Sony’s PlayStation Store. The games then run from a memory card (Vita native games come on tiny cards instead of mini-discs). The upsides of playing PSP games on the Vita include the option to use the Vita’s second right-hand analog stick, and an upscaling option that includes a smoothing filter designed to make the games look better on the Vita’s larger 5-inch, 960 x 544 pixel, OLED screen. These Are the First PSP Games That Will Work On The Vita - Kotaku- Topic: PSP News

Sony has released a list of the first 275 PSP games that will be available to be downloaded or transferred onto their new handheld Vita. Sony has put a note in the post indicating that the list is not complete, and that more games will be added in subsequent updates. That said, it doesn’t quite make up for the fact that if you’ve got your PSP games on a disc, you won’t be able to transfer them to your Vita .
