Friday, July 4th, 2008

Sony’s PSP held onto the hardware top spot in the face of increased competition from Nintendo platforms, while PS3 sales continued to fall following a Metal Gear Solid fuelled high earlier in June. Sales of Sony’s handheld remained steady during the week ended June 29, down just 500 units from the previous week , while sales of Nintendo’s DS and Wii systems jumped by 12,000 and 7,500 units respectively. After shifting more than 75,000 PS3s surrounding Metal Gear Solid 4’s June 12 release, sales of the Sony console continued to decline, down from 20,336 units the week prior to 17,973. PS2 sales were up by over 1,000 units, while Xbox 360 sales swelled significantly, almost doubling, from 2,555 to 5,104 units. read more

The details of the files also suggest the pixels use in a phone, portable media player, e-mail device, web browser device and navigation system. Technology - Computer Business Online Add to My Yahoo!
