PSP bounced back to the top of the Japanese hardware chart during the week ended August 29, according to data from sales tracker Media Create. Boosted by the launch of the software chart-topping Monster Hunter Diary , which was also released as part of a new PSP hardware bundle, weekly sales of Sony’s portable doubled to 50,000. Combined DS sales were down from around 45,000 units the previous week to 40,000, while PS3 was the leading home console with 25,000 units sold, over 9,000 more than its closest rival, Wii. Thank god, good to see that Edge printed the combined DS sales though to try to stop any arguments.
