Monday at a remote site of a former surface mining operation in Rush Township, Centre County. Of these accidents, police said the main causes were driving too fast for the road conditions and inattentive driving. Police said all vehicle occupants must wear a seatbelt while a vehicle is in operation under state law. A 69-year-old Philipsburg man allegedly wrote harassing letters to a 50-year-old Philipsburg woman and placed them in her mailbox and door. read more
