The struggling Silver Streaks lost for the fourth time in five games, falling 64-57 to Davenport (Iowa) Assumption on Saturday in the Genesis PSP Shootout at the Carver Center on the campus of Augustana College. Vonderhaar and Joe Daniel, torched the Streaks throughout. Vonderhaar scored a game-high 26 on 11-of-19 shooting, and Daniel had a double-double with 15 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. A rebound basket by Vonderhaar at the halftime buzzer left the Streaks up 27-26 at intermission. The Knights then got quick buckets from Sean Finn and Vonderhaar and a 3-pointer from Blake Schneden for a 39-34 lead they wouldn’t relinquish. read more
