Launching a brand new title is hard in this business, but Vogster Entertainment thinks the best chances for success lie with the PSP and releasing their game through digital channels. Sony tested the waters of purely digital distribution for PSP titles with the now-released Patapon 2 , but some third-party PSP developers are much more upfront about the advantages of offering titles without a physical release. Vogster, the company behind the upcoming comic book brawler Unbound Saga , believes that digital is the future, and the PSP is the best place to launch new intellectual property. For smaller companies who launch titles without the ability to run a large ad campaign, digital distribution does offer some significant advantages. The world could use more high-quality brawlers, so if Unbound Saga turns out to be a quality game, it will certainly fill a niche, and Vogster makes strong points when arguing for the strategy of taking its game digital. read more
