The PSP as been the best-selling games system in Japan for some months now, however, Sony’s handheld may finally be beginning to slip back a little, if the hardware numbers for the week ending August 3rd are indicative. The PSP managed just over 61,000 sales for the week in question, followed by the DS not far off on over 57,000. Third was the Wii with 41,000, the PS3 a distant fourth on 9,000. The PS2 was only 450 units shy of the PS3, while the Xbox 360 also topped 5,000 units for the week. read more
