Residents and businesses near Vella Road and Camino Parocela in Palm Springs are without power, while Southern California Edison crews repair downed power lines. Southern California Edison has not said how long the power will be out, nor do they make mention of it yet on their Twitter feed (@SoCalEdison). Local 2 News will update this story as we learn more.
